This one seems to be much better built. Overall I'm happy with the mount, this was a replacement for the original that came with my Garmin after the pin kept falling out. I travel a lot and wouldn't be caught dead without my GPS and this mount.
I had to stop payment after spending 3 hours of my time trying to communicate online. My husband used it the first time, (it was a birthday present for him) SURPRISE. I've yet to receive a credit.Additionally, the Garmin GPS was severely out of date. It's been a credit card nightmare. It was never adequately explained that this item was already included in the purchase of the Garmin portable GPS. Within a couple days I returned it, unopened, with the mailing label provided by Amazon.com returns. He was out of town and couldn't find a restaurant that moved but had been in business for many years at the new location.
Not clear as to what models it fits vs won't fit but it did fit my NUVI 680
I would like to return the extra. the mount, vehicle suction cup mount I purchased came with the Garmin. It is unopened.
the mount is fine but the rubber on the suction cup gives up after about nine months
